How to release negative energy and stress within minutes
stress

In such a chaotic world it’s no wonder so many of us suffer from stress that leads to anxiety and if these things are not handled properly they can eventually lead you to feeling a lot of negative energy.  Which I’m sure is something we all can relate to.  Most of the time people will just turn to drugs for a quick fix, but eventually that will lead to more problems down the road as you become addicted.  Because of the chaos and stress most of us end up not feeling well.  Over 40 million Americans suffer from allergies; and 30 million suffer from insomnia.  It’s estimated that 25 million people in the United States suffer from hypertension (high blood pressure.)  Around 20 million of us have ulcers, and millions more suffer from jagged nerves to the point of needing heavy tranquilizers.  On top of that 1 out of 3 people suffer from obesity that continues to rise on a daily basis.  Today most medical research indicates that 75% to 90% of all illnesses are stress related to modern life.  That is a staggeringly high amount!  As a matter of fact, medical researchers no longer argue which illnesses are psychosomatic (beginning in the mind) but instead they ask how much of EVERY disease is stress related!  That is just mind blowing!

The first thing we should consider looking into is our diet because when you eat foods high in sugar or refined carbohydrates your bodies produce adrenaline in attempt to regulate your blood sugar levels.  This is because these junk foods lower your blood sugar levels and then your body produces adrenaline to compensate for the fluctuation.  Adrenaline is the primary factor that causes you to become anxious and nervous.  This is why a lot of people who eat tons of junk food that is high in sugar or refined carbohydrates often seem nervous or very high strung!  So as the saying goes, “You are what you eat!” this couldn’t be more true!  A healthy mind = a happy body and soul!  This is a psychological disorder that all could have been prevented just by eating healthy and staying on a good diet.   Unfortunately, people would still rather pick eating junk food and popping pills to get their quick fix, but in the long run it will only make you worse!

You don’t need to take highly addictive pills to help you cope with the everyday stresses of life because research has shown that just by changing your physiology you can actually change your brain chemistry.  For example, studies show that when you smile it actually puts you in a better mood!  It’s often thought that you only smile when you’re happy, which is of course true.  However,  there is strong evidence that the act itself can transform your emotional state and make you feel happier!  Conversely, if you were to frown for a few minutes you will start to feel worse.  Go ahead and try it out.  This is all mind over matter or psychosomatic related diseases which is all preventable!  It all starts in your mind and will eventually have physical affects on your body.  So a happy person will emanate positive energies all around them whilst hardly ever getting sick!  So whenever you hear the term “Think positive” or “Don’t worry, be happy!” – this couldn’t ring more true as it really does affect your body and health.

Some very easy things to do to rid yourself of these stresses is to smile and breathe!  That’s right.  That’s all you need to do.  Who would have thought it was that easy?  Exactly.  Nobody thinks of it.  Get it?  Ok bad joke…. moving on now. :D  Whenever you smile it not only draws people to you (because who doesn’t like to be around positive and happy people?)  but the act of smiling will actually calm you down and make you feel more relaxed.  Also, when people say “don’t forget to breathe!” it is very true when in times of stress because when you are nervous you tend to hold your breath and make things all the more worse for you!  Practicing how to breathe deeply and regularly will calm you down instantly!  It will also help make it easier for you to think, react, and speak clearly and confidently.  This is great for while you are on a job interview or meeting someone new for the first time.  It shows that you are cool and relaxed.  Confident and calm.  Which are always a very attractive quality to have in any situation.  So next time life has gotten you down and those negative thoughts start to fill up inside of your head…. don’t forget to smile and breathe!  Everything is going to be just fine! :D

    1. Awww thank you! Im glad you like my site and I hope you stay to browse around for a while. Lot’s more interesting things to come! :)

  1. Most definitely needed to read this right at this moment. Funny how your advice tends to reach me EXACTLY when I need it. You’re the best Tila :) a light in this chaotic world

  2. Great article Tila! Simple things like a smile and a deep breath are too often overlooked for their amazing benefits to our mental/emotional/spiritual/physical well being. If I may, I’d like to request a topic for one of your articles that I think your readers (including myself) would very much enjoy, and that is how to gain and maintain control of our thoughts. You touched on it here by stating the importance of a healthy mind state and how much diet directly affects the quality of our mental health, so we know that that is probably the best first step anybody can take for attaining control of their thoughts. However, I would still like to here your perspective on this because you always bring such great knowledge to the table and even when you are explaining things that I already know or am aware of, you often put these things in a new light for me to gain a better understanding and clarity on the matter. Thanks Tila! <3

    1. Take the time to do what you enjoy and love, find new talents about yourself and focus on your inner qualities. Dont stay focused on the negative sides of you, but write a list of all the qualities you have and read them daily . It will help you gain confidence in yourself and realize that you are worth fighting for and it will help you stop doing bad things to yourself!
